Description
Paula, the Tuxedo Cat, "adopted" our family several years ago. Cats with white fur combined with fur of another color are called Tuxedo Cats, named after attire men wear for formal occasions. This combination is also as bicolor, piebald, or magpie. Sylvester the Cat, of Looney Tunes fame; Dr. Seuss's Cat in the Hat; and Felix the Cat, created during the 1920's silent film era were also Tuxedo cats. Even today, the favorite cat collectible is the Felix Clock, with the long black tail wagging back and forth.
